I’m a little scared to get Steve Pavlina on my neck now – but here I go:
A few points on copyright and rules that we (fresh bloggers) really need to know about:
- ..if you want to share someone else’s content with your own audience, just quote a brief excerpt, and provide proper attribution with a link to the source
- if a blogger posts nothing but a list of links to other sites, that list is still likely protected by copyright
- it makes no difference whether or not you provide proper attribution

I found this article via c4chaos’s blog. And he says – amongst a lot of other good things:
- Why do I have to buy that freakin’ Billy Joel song again just because I switched to a Mac?
Fortunately, the law says we don’t own ideas. Ideas aren’t anyone’s property – Steve Jobs
Thank you very much Steve, Steve and..um. that C4maniac
